In case you have not heard, Governor Abbott has extended school closures until May 4th. The campus administrators, teachers and staff of Giddings Middle School are committed to continue providing a quality education for our students. We will continue to provide lessons and activities through Google Classrooms and also by providing paper packets every Tuesday for students who do not have Internet Access.
Beginning this week, all teachers will provide their email address on their paper packets so students can take a picture of their completed work and email it to the appropriate teacher. Students who are participating in Google Classrooms will be monitored by their teachers electronically.
We miss our daily interactions with our students. Their safety and continued good health is a top priority for us. Now more than ever, it is important for all of us to practice Social Distancing and to follow the safety guidelines provided by the CDC.
Working together, we will get through these uncertain times. Until we can all be together again, take care and stay safe.
