Last Friday, April 21st, the Boys and Girls Track teams competed in the area meet in La Grange. Here are the results for both boys and girls from the meet:
The boys track team got 2nd overall with a point total 126 at the Districts 21/22 - 4A Area Track Meet.
3200m Run: 1st - Kayden Bloodworth (10:16.65), 2nd - Joseph Villegas (10:16.81), 3rd - Julian Olivares (10:16.82)
800m Run: 2nd - Kayden Bloodworth (2:02.62)

The girls won the Districts 21/22 4A Area Meet with a total of 168 points. 15 girls competed in 15 events and all 15 qualified for regionals in at least one of their events.

Top 4 finishers qualified for the Region 3-4A meet, which will be held April 28-29 at Bullard High School. Top 2 finishers at the regional meet qualify for the state meet. We are extremely proud of the effort put forth by all the track athletes and look forward to watching them competing at the regional meet this weekend.
