GHS would like to congratulate Mrs. Benita Dube on her retirement. Mrs. Dube has dedicated over 28 years of service to GISD in many positions over her career. Most recently she has been the face and warm smile to many when you enter the doors of GHS. We will miss you beyond measure but hope you enjoy all your free time! Thank you for all you have done for GISD and best of luck in Retirement!

This past Saturday several students from the Mighty Buffalo Band competed in Smithville at the All-Region Band Auditions. Congratulations to the following students on their all- region honors. Qualifiers will attend a clinic and perform in Bastrop in the new year.

Another successful week in Buffalo Nation, Lady Buffs basketball starts this week!

Retakes are for all grades 9th - 12th. If you purchased photos and want them retaken, please bring the purchased photos to retake day to give to the photographer for exchange. Seniors who previously took portraits and are retaking will be charged a $10 fee. Seniors there is a sign up link below for a photography time.

The first 3 weeks of the 2nd 9 week grading period is complete. Progress reports go home with students this week. Reminder Picture Retakes will be this Thursday November 6th. Ordering packets can be picked up in the front office.

It was a busy week at Buffalo Nation, congratulations to Senior, Aiden Hankins on qualifying for the 4A State Cross Country meet! Way to represent GHS!

This week, GHS Musical Theatre presents, Frozen! Come watch as they bring Ana and Elsa to life on stage! Wednesday and Thursday in the GHS Cafetorium starting at 6:30pm, tickets are $10.

Homecoming week in the books, Good Luck to all the buffaloes competing this week and representing GHS!
