Congratulations to the new officers and members of the 2026-2027 GMS Student Council!
The running club ended their season with a 1.25 mile race around the school area on Wednesday, October 21.
Coming in first place was Gatlin Fromme with a time of 7:50, followed by Logan Leatherwood in 2nd place, Martin Greene in 3rd place, Kara Orocio in 4th place, Roberto Correra in 5th place, Jolee Faske in 6th place, Kolton Dawson in 7th place, Ryleigh DeGerolami in 8th place, Bryson Barnes in 9th place, Sophia Bahena in 10th place, Joseline Ramirez in 11th place, and Haylen Poston in 12th place.
Other participants were Marcos Leyva, Grayson Kessler, Mateo Lara, Blakely Hines, Allyson Lindbergh, Harper Proske, Isabella Flores, Addy Fridenberg, Khrii Caldwell, Aspen Collins, Avery Majewski, Aleah Segura, Quinn Herbert, Jatziry Morales, Tessa Lyman, Savie McMillan, Alani Montoya, and Hadley Portis.
Ms. Penn handed out the medals at the end of the race.
Thank you to everyone who came and watched the race and cheered on the runners. We’ve never had such a big crowd at a running club race. Go Buffs!

Every purchase supports GMS Cheer and helps fund pep rally supplies and other needs for the program.
