

Giddings ISD Parents: You will soon be able to see your child's STAAR scores in the GISD Parent Portal. When you open the Parent Portal, click on the GREEN button labeled "Texas Assessment," and you will be able to see the current scores and past scores, if applicable. If you are unable to access the Parent Portal, you will need to contact your child's school to obtain the access code.
STAAR EOC Results for Grades 9-12 will be available June 10th, and STAAR Results for Grades 3-8 will be available June 16th.

Giddings ISD celebrated another successful school year with a luncheon on Friday, May 22nd. The theme of the luncheon was "One Town, One School, One Family."
The District awarded service pins to employees who have served in the District for five to thirty-five years, recognized retiring employees, and presented awards to the employee and teacher of the year.

It may be the last week of school, but Mrs. Moore's science classes are still investigating the laws of physics and aerodynamics with this STEM Challenge! Students are given a selection of materials and the task to create the best army man launcher.
