The Giddings Buffaloes varsity football at Columbus will be livestreamed tonight. Kickoff is at 8:00pm (weather delay from the scheduled time of 7:30). The pre-game broadcast will begin at 7:30 pm. Due to inclement weather, the kickoff time for tonight's varsity football game at Columbus has been delayed to 8:00 pm.
GMS REMOTE LEARNERS:
If you are having difficulty logging on to Schoology please access either the Giddings Middle School or the Giddings ISD website. Go to "Menu". Once you open the Menu page, you will see "Remote Learning Help" on the left side of the page. Each link provides information necessary for your child's remote learning.
The link "Schoology Access Codes" contains the access codes your child will need to access his/her online classroom. The access codes for each campus can be found in that link. The "Schoology Login Instructions" link provides step by step instructions on how to log into the system. Step by step instructions are provided on how to log in from a GISD Chromebook. If a student is using his/her own device, step by step log in instructions are given on how to log in from his/her own device. The "Schoology Login Page" is where the student logs in to Schoology.
The "Adding Courses" link provides students step by step instructions on how to join their courses(classes).The "Remote Learning Attendance" link provides information regarding remote learning attendance requirements to parents and students. If students are having difficulty with the login process, adding classes or other remote learning problems, access the link "Help for Students".
Again, these instructions can be found on both the GMS and GISD webpage.

PARENTS: CHANGES WILL NOT BE MADE TO THE DECISION FOR REMOTE OR IN-CLASS LEARNING AFTER 3:00 PM TODAY, TUESDAY, AUGUST 25 2020.
Campus Counselors must have final selections in order to complete schedules and balance classes.
After 3:00 pm today, no further changes will be allowed until the end of the first six weeks.

GHS/GM Athletes: SWAP Resumes this week. (Monday, July 13) Athletes must bring a face covering/mask.
Athletes: SWAP Workouts will be suspended until July 13. Girls will work out July 1, then not workout again until July 13. Boys will not work out July 1.

The GHS Class of 2020 Commencement Ceremony scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 9AM will be available for viewing via livestream on the GISD facebook page:

Buffalo Stadium will be closed to the public from Friday at 7am until Saturday at 2pm in order to accommodate the setup for commencement and the ceremony itself on Saturday morning.
GMS Spring Portraits and Basketball Photos will still be available for pick-up on Tuesday, May 19 from 9am until noon.
