Giddings ISD is happy to announce Josh Hatfield has been hired as the new Principal for Giddings Intermediate School.
Mr. Hatfield has been an administrator in College Station ISD since August of 2010 where he served as Principal of College Hills Elementary and Assistant Principal at Southwood Valley Elementary. Prior to joining College Station ISD, he was a teacher at Hempstead Elementary School.
Mr. Hatfield began his career in education after graduating from the Prairie View A&M University in 2006. Additionally, Mr. Hatfield has earned a Masters in Education from Prairie View A&M and is currently working on his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University.
Giddings ISD Interim Superintendent Shane Holman said, “We are excited to announce the hiring of Josh Hatfield as the new principal at Giddings Intermediate School. Mr. Hatfield brings very valuable experience and expertise to the campus and our administrative team. We believe he is a great fit for Giddings ISD and will lead the campus forward to continued success.”
Mr. Hatfield commented on joining Giddings Intermediate School as the new Principal, "It is an honor to have been selected to lead GIS as the next Principal. I am excited to be in a great school district and community. I look forward to being a part of a culture that leaves a legacy with Buffalo Pride!"
