HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Our students and teachers went ALL OUT this year!! Amazing costumes!! We hope everyone has a wonderful (and warm) time this evening collecting allllll the candy.
Friday is one more dress up day for us...NEON DAY! Come dressed in the brightest clothes you can find. The GHS Cheerleaders will also be here one last time to sell, and apply, face tattoos for $1 in the gym before school.


Halloween is on Tuesday, Oct 31st and we would love to see all of our students dressed up! As a reminder, there will be no masks or play weapons allowed in the school building that day.

Summer meals open to the community will be offered at Giddings Elementary School.
Monday through Thursday - beginning Tuesday, May 30th through Thursday, June 29th. Breakfast will be served from 730AM-830AM and Lunch will be served from 11AM-12PM.

Online Registration for new and returning students in 1st through 12th grade will open on Monday, May 8th. Pre-K and Kindergarten registration MUST be completed at the Elementary School. After assessing the forecast weather conditions, it is out of an abundance of caution that GISD administration officials have decided to
DELAY THE START OF SCHOOL BY 2 HOURS
tomorrow, Thursday, February 2.
Buses will also run 2 hours later.


Due to the forecast for continued freezing weather and hazardous road conditions, GISD campuses will remain closed through Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023.
