For our final Staff Spotlight of the year we have a double feature selected by the GMS student council: Mr. John Conley is a 7th grade math teacher, and Mrs. Courtney Umlang is an 8th grade math teacher. 📚Just a friendly reminder: All GMS Library Books are due tomorrow! Students have been reminded all week but we respectfully request that you follow up with them at home to make sure the books are accounted for to avoid overdue fees. It's National Nurse Week, and that means today is School Nurse Day! Join us in saying Thank You to our very own Hope Siegmund. She saves the day for our students and staff and makes sure our campus is happy and healthy. Thank you for all you do and Happy School Nurse Day!!!

Join the Junior Beta Club at GMS in honoring the life of Gema Salazar. Students in 6th grade still remember the joyful light that she carried with her everywhere she went. Funds raised through the Light The Night Schools Campaign allow LLS to fund treatments for patients who are suffering from all forms of blood cancers. LLS has helped fund over 70% of FDA-approved blood cancer treatments since 2016. Help defeat the darkness of cancer. The GMS Student Council is thrilled to announce Mrs. Jackie Trammel as the next Staff Spotlight! Mrs. Trammel makes a difference on our campus and we are grateful for her dedication and hard work. Thank you for all you do!

🏫Did you attend Giddings Middle School from 2002 to 2013? We are selling over-stocked copies of these past yearbooks as photographed. Help us with some spring cleaning and relive memories of the past! These editions are only $5 each. Please swipe through the photos to see the years available. 📸Did you miss out on the 2022-2023 yearbook? A few copies are still available for only $10. ❓FAQs: When will the new yearbook get here? It will arrive by the end of the school year. We are expecting them by the last week of school. We will post on social media and send notes home when they are available. They will be $25 each. Can you hold a copy for me? No. All yearbook purchases are first-come first-serve. Please come to the GMS front office to purchase your copy. Can I pay online? No. We are unable to take online payments at this time. Please bring cash or a check made payable to Giddings Middle School to the front office.
