Congratulations to Assistant Superintendent Shane Holman on receiving the prestigious award from Region 13 as Star of the Month. This award is given to those who are making an impact on their school district. We appreciate all Shane has done for Giddings ISD in his 32 years of service in education. The GMS track participants head to Smithville today. Wish your Buff good luck as they gear up for today's contests and don't forget to mark your calendars! The Buffalo Relays are next week! Come support the GMS track and field teams here at Buffalo Stadium next Thursday, March 7th at 4:00 PM.
The Elementary Queuing Lane project is well underway. On Saturday
morning (2/24), we will need to shut off the water from approximately
6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Southeast portion of town (to include the
Elementary School, neighboring residences, and adjacent structures)
to move a fire hydrant and work on a main water line.
